Our European Anniversary Trip - Jungfrau Top of Europe

October 7 - Our last scheduled excursion was for Jungfrau - Top of Europe.  Going up we took the train.  Along the way a stop was made so we could get out to take photos.

We finally get to the top.

You decide how much time you want to spend up there based on what you want to see or do.  It was definitely harder to breath up there!

Darn - not open yet!

It was a balmy 33 degrees!

Life sized snow globe

Entry in to the Ice Palace

Ice sculptures were all along the way - beautiful!

Another area you were able to go outside and I walked out a bit and decided to come back.  The elevation was getting to me a little so I came in and sat down.  Greg went out to the lookout point.

They had several restaurants but this one was the only one open at the time we decided to eat.

When we left, we took the Eiger Express (cable car) down.  It was a beautiful view!

That evening we decided to have our anniversary dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Butter board

I had mozzarella ice cream with vegetables marinated in balsamic vinegar as the appetizer.  It was delicious.  Then my entree was chicken Cordon Bleu.  It was very good!

Greg had some kind of fish.

It was a wonderful day!
