Here is our part of Texas (South Central) summer started in May. Temps have consistently been in the 100s plus with very little rain. It has been a scorcher. I am not a summer girl so doing stuff outside (other than mowing and the occasional weeding of flower beds) is not for me. Now, on to what IS good about summer!
Hubby loves his fruit trees and we have several -- peach, plum, fig, pear and Jujube (Google it). The squirrels have had a feast on some of our peach trees, but one tree has managed to produce some gorgeous peaches. More are still on the tree to ripen and they smell wonderful! Happy Summer!
